A stronger Licensing Division for La Quinta
The
licensing division of La Quinta goes from strength to strength with the
arrival of a new resource. As of 1st October, Paolo Pinzan will be
working with the division as licensing manager, supporting the in-house
team of professionals. Pinzan will be specifically looking after the
management and development of licensing projects for La Quinta’s
existing client brands and companies, and seeking out new business and
development opportunities for the licensing division specialised in
consultancy and licensing services for fashion and design companies.
Having
graduated from the University of Turin with a degree in Law
specialising in Patents and Trademarks, Paolo Pinzan, 46, started out
on his career as corporate counsel in medium-sized companies where,
working alongside the owner, he supported and managed the development
of strategic brand-related sectors. In 1996, he joined
Weruska&Joel, quickly taking on the role of License and Trademarks
Manager, dealing with all the various aspects related to owned and
licensed brands. In 1999 he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of
Lancetti Creazioni Srl and managed the brand’s re-launch and
development phase by resuming haute couture runway shows and through a
new licensing course. The La Quinta Licensing Division has grown considerably stronger in
recent times thanks also to the appointment of professional figures who
work alongside Giuseppe De Vecchi (President and Chief Executive
Officer of La Quinta). These include Fabrizio Gnerro (ex Gruppo
Ermenegildo Zegna, ex sales manager of Gallo, ex sales manager of
Perofil) and Valerio Melloni (ex managing director of Tonino
Lamborghini).
